Beach BodyThe most powerful motivator I know of and a critical tool I use with every client is razor sharp visualization.  It’s impossible to get what you want unless you know first what it is you want.  This means visualizing the end result of whatever motivates you to get into shape.  So for example, if your main motivation is to look great on the beach when you go on your vacation to Hawaii, you must visualize the swim suit as sharply as you can – the color, the material, the cut.  Then you must visualize the beach you will be on – where is it, what exactly does it look like.  Then visualize who you are there with – husband, best friend, etc.  Finally you need to visualize what it would feel like to wear that swim suit on that beach, looking great and feeling comfortable in your own skin.  You need to repeat this image constantly – in your car, going to sleep or most importantly on your way to see your trainer or in the middle of a workout when you don’t want to be there.  That visualization, if practiced enough, can make the difference between success and failure.
