Over the years there have been tons of fad diets to come and go. Diets such as the South Beach diet, the Atkins diet, the low fat diets and of course the low carb diets. All of which seemed to become ever so popular then vanish faster than they arrived. You ask why? Well for starters these diets promise you a quick weight loss fix with claims that sound too good to be true. Thats because they are too good to be true! Another reason is that they eliminate one or more of the essential 5 food groups, which is just counterproductive in the long-term. So instead of talking about the crappy fad diets, lets talk about something that has worked for both my clients and myself. There’s no fancy name for it, and there’s now magical overnight promises. It is just simply adding more protein to your daily diet. No drastic cutting of any other food group is involved, just adding additional protein to your daily diet.
